Cooked these up for the kids the other day. Best on the Traeger but in the interest of expedience, cast iron on the gas grill, still really good.

The little town where I work out of has this little grocery store with a butcher shop. They make these smokies, amongst other amazing things, in house. Very good.

I chopped some up and put it in a macaroni casserole as well.

What is that Pablo? Kind of looks like lasagna with rice inside. Enlighten this old man from Iowa please.
My own concoction.
1 lb grass feed grn bif - browned, throw in some orzo pasta (not rice), onion and garlic powder, two kinds of oregano, little salt, EVOO
Char roast two garden sweet red peppers, a little baggy of frozen and thawed sauce 'matoes from garden (last year)
Cook until orzo tender, may need a little broth. But you want a solid thing, not soup.

Separately Mix some parma and other cheeses with a little almond and rye flour and a teaspoon on corn starch and couple tablespoons of bread crumbs (binder)

Throw the cooking stuff into an oiled baking dish allow to cool just a bit, mix in the binder mess, pack down flat, 425°F until a little crusty on top and bubbling. Then arrange some cheese on top (I used fresh mozza) Broil brown. Cool a little a serve.

Wife went nuts on it. Says I'm a keeper and won't tase me anymore

I knew you were a closeted chef 🤣🙊

Spagbol? Spag with hair? Spag with red sauce? Spag with cheese sauce? Spag and meatballs? Dirty spaghetti? Just spag?
No idea on what she may have called the dish. It was a baked dish. Not bad, but I had never had it baked before.
Prefer it the way I used to make the dish. Cooked my noodles and poured sauce over the top. Plus my sauce had much
better flavor. But beggars can't be chooser's.;)

A spag casserole then! Could be good. I often used to eat leftover pasta fried with chopped ham, onions, mixed with scrambled eggs and topped with sliced tomatoes and real hair. Ah, the early years, when nutrition was an afterthought and my body burnt any food at a high rate. Getting massive was a chore then!
