I got some of my meat delivered yesterday from a local farm co-op. Steaks. My fully grass fed and grass finished qtr beef is still hanging until around Christmas.

I grilled a NY steak outside just now. These are grass fed, but spent barley finished. Not bad, a little bland for my tastes, but still great quality meat. Super juicy, enough fat. Nice.

Beans, salad, avocado.

I purposely didn't take a picture because @GON is on a diet.

I get all of our meat from the local butcher shop. They run weekly specials on meat boxes. I picked one up today.

5 lbs country style ribs
5 lbs sirloin steaks
5 lbs leg quarters
5 lbs end cut pork chops
5 lbs ground chuck (80/20)
3 lbs smoked sausage
3 lbs hot dogs

All for $100.

Each plate above contains an 8 oz steak, 2 cubed red potatoes, and 1 cup roasted broccoli which comes out to ~700 calories.

Puts me at 1880 calories total for the day. I'm on a weight loss journey myself.

Taco Salad at Famous Anthony’s. Sour cream and salsa automatically come on the side. Not really what I wanted but the menu isn’t huge. It’s been really cold here and I’ve wanted some wonton soup so bad so I tried to reason some Chinese food out of pops wallet but he said no lol. Maybe I can convince the boys tomorrow to go to the buffet with me. Then beg for more when I get home lol. I’d buy it but I’m saving for a MacBook Pro so I’m not spending any unnecessary money.

Colton's steakhouse. Always an underwhelming experience, regardless of location. But was in the same parking lot as my hotel, and I started traveling at 3am this morning, so will take not having to drive to eat over quality. Usually I won't do that tradeoff, but I do dnt get to bed Monday night, four hours last night, so this why why I am at Colton's.

Wow. Great deal!!

Basically $3.25/lb. No one sells meat that cheap. Farmer/rancher losing money. They gave it to you! Hahaha. Best I can do here is around $6 pound if I buy a quarter for the freezer (which is fine by me), but it's organic, clean, grass fed and finished.

Ima buy half a hog soon.

Meals on wheels as normal. The chefs today cooked up this for their TV dinner.
Hamburger patty with mushroom gravy
Mashed potatoes
Carrots
Dinner roll
Cookie

Grocery getter was supposed to get us REAL food today.
Came down with strep throat, so I uninvited her. Will make do with this meal.
