Hosted our workplace farms staff for lunch a few days ago (foil is wife's perverted idea). Fresh corn on the cob is not shown.

ANSWER ME THIS, please: a Minnesotan told me the ONLY proper way to grill brats is to boil them first, then grill (I complied, with beer bath boil). Comments please.

Boiled in beer is a good method but there is some dependency on what kinda brats
Cheap beer, peppercorns and juniper berries. Then hit them on the grill.

My last GF was from MN and raved about them, so the MN thing must have migrated south to Iowa.
Plus boiling gets some of the fat out, so they don't burn on the grill.

Epic fail nobody would ever boil a Brat prior to grilling

We do. Just mom gets grumpy if she has to do dishes so we save the real for stuff like steak and fish and stuff. She gets very very grumpy almost as grumpy as when she has to cook. We do use real silverware typically. Some stuff I don’t see a reason to use real stuff for. Dad only uses paper plates as he doesn’t like the sound of styrofoam when it touches something else.
so essentially you married a dishwasher that doesn't wash dishes?
