What are you eating right now?

I made a large pot of Italian grandma soup. 2 pounds of spiced ground meat/sausage, veggies, greens, etc, two complete garlic bulbs, just a little protein pasta and plenty of the oils. Served with lemon zest and Romano. Da bomb. Rich and filling. A real meal.

Pablo,

Do you saute the vegetables before you add them into the soup?

I start with two separate sautes going on. Veggies in one, browning the meat in the other. Separate herbs and spices for each, then combine, deglaze with broth and really not a long cook with the broth, maybe an hour, add the pasta and when it's al dente, time to eat!

Who finally talked the manager into giving you those FREE burgers you were owed? I would have loved to hear that conversation. :ROFLMAO:
Haha. We called the headquarters and talked to someone who was head of the technology stuff and all of that and got it sorted out. Since they no longer use the cards they aren’t valid and most likely went to the card and didn’t show up for that reason is what he said. But we got them and that’s what matters. We do not turn down free food lol.

Wow! That place has a ton of stuff on the menu!
B3,

Great menu. Very highly reviewed on Google. I am the only person in the place that can't speak Spanish. Wish I was braver, tons of very interesting stuff on the menu. Everything was delicious. The beans, were outstanding.

My server would of fit the mode of Fellena from Marty Robbins "El Paso" song. I could see every young man giving up everything for a date with this server. To say she was stunning was a understatement.

Were the purveyors truly Mexican? Looks like it may be one of their southern neighbors

Pablo, great question and observation. The plate came with sweet plantains, which I don't recall ever having in a Mexican restaurant. And the rice was not reflective of Mexican restaurants I have ate at.
