Think I figured out part of my problem with these progressive glasses: I don’t look straight ahead. I seem to rotate my head to favor one eye. But the focal point is very narrow on these glasses and its an adjustment.
Need to figure out some house wiring. I bridge three circuits during our last power outage. Need to undo that, but rework something so I don’t have to get into the breaker panel every time. Probably have to run some new wire.
Need to work tomorrow, but I bet no one in the office is. So it should be a short and simple day. I can live with that.

Yeah, I knew it would be. Every other time I've gotten glasses, the improvement is immediate. First time I've gotten a pair with the admonition "you just have to get used to them." Weird. At least I have a cheap pair of glasses for when I get tired, Zenni was able to deliver before this fancy pair showed up, so it's a nuisance that I can take off whenever I feel like it.This

I’ve had progressives about 18 months and I’m still kinda “meh” on them.

We are eating and soon going to the women’s college basketball game today. Surprised they would have one on New Year’s Day. They had a men’s game yesterday which they played the biggest rival and won in three overtime’s.
Mom is convinced she’s going to get a car today before the game but I just don’t see it happening on the terms she wants. I’m not going to say anything though because she’s been on a rampage all morning and going off so me and dad are tired of hearing it and arguing so we are stepping back at this point. She’s living in a dream if she thinks she can get $200-$300 payments on something that expensive in this day and age especially with interest and no down payment or trade in. She said if she decides to trade in her Camry then she won’t accept less than $15,000 for it which I also don’t see happening either for a now 9 year old Camry.

Looks like Mom might have to do some Door Dash on the side. Why wouldn't she trade in the Camry if it's a decent trade-in value to get the payment more affordable. Dealership's always try to low ball on trade ins. Could sell privately. Keeping it would mean even more cost to own two cars due to keeping up on maintenance and insurance.

She got denied for the car on the terms she wanted lol. All the banks approved her but the minimum a payment would be was $489 and she said nope I need it $300 or less because that’s all I can afford. The salesman said ma’am you are not going to get anything that low that’s unrealistic even with your sons discount and no down payment or trade in. They offered to appraise the car and she with an attitude told the appraiser that she wasn’t taking less than $15,000 and he’s like I don’t even want to make you an offer because you won’t like it because it won’t be $15,000. I’m kind of embarrassed that she acted like that at a place I work at. She admitted she’s jealous of my car and grandmas car and all of that since they are newer than hers.

Honestly I’m surprised I got the RAV4 for $545.95 a month with no trade or down payment lol. I was expecting about $700 or so a month. My dealership has a 350Z that was traded in and man I’d like to get it but I never could afford it lol.I'm mad because I can't get a ZR1 Vette for less than $500/mo with no trade-in or down payment.
