What are you doing right now?

Watching the Philadelphia Phillies @ Washington Nationals game. This is the little league series though where they interact with little leaguers and play at a little league field. Go Nationals.

I’ll admit I bought a Phillies hat today. But the alternate that is blue and red not just red. They restock the hats on Friday so I got one while they still had one. This is one of the hats that always sells out.

Watching the pre game show of the Toronto Blue Jays @ Baltimore Orioles. They only have two games on in my area tonight it’s the Blue Jays @ Orioles or Washington Nationals @ New York Yankees. I like the Orioles and the Blue Jays so it’s a good game for me to watch.

Reading Well's Fargo's website, trying to figure out how I can pay extra on my auto loan. Feeling a bit foolish for going this path in the first place. Then back to reading my calculus book.

Should just be able to make higher payments each month, or put a chunk of cash down on the principle to help pay it off faster. The latter will save you more interest, but remove more cash out of you checking/savings account.

Are you looking to make a single lump sum added payment or pay more every month? Also, maybe look into a credit union that probably offers a lower interest rate and tailor the loan however you want it now.

Looks like paying extra applies first to the next 3 payments, then the rest goes to principle. Or I can call and have it directed towards principle? But I see that I can request payoff value then submit payment somehow. Not sure on how to do this ETF stuff, so I'm starting to think I transfer from my brokerage to my bank, have my wife make sure it's in the checking account (she has access, I don't), then write a check... my little brain knows how to write a check, but ETF's scare me.

I'd been thinking that, but I'm feeling guilt for buying this car, so I'm looking to just pay off and get out of paying any interest. The more I sit and think, the more the second guessing occurs. I would have floated a new loan for a couple of years on new, at that rate I would rather have the liquidity, but used apr is awful, and... I just should not have caved at the dealership.

Tracking the status of my genuine MLB caps. Four of them coming in the next few days. Supposed to have the Phillies alternate cap tomorrow. Then Pablo will like this I’ve got a Mariners hat coming as they finally had the one I wanted in stock and it was $8 off too. Dark blue with the aqua bill. The other one is just too basic. Along with Mariners is also the Athletics green and yellow bill cap. And the Giants hat they finally had that I wanted with the black hat and orange bill. If the team has a good alternate cap I buy the alternate cap. Most of the main caps are boring.

Here is what I bought. All genuine on field caps that you see wore in the games. For those who are wondering I rock with the bill straight. A lot of people bend theirs I prefer straight but it all comes down to preference. Also I always leave the 59FIFTY sticker on the bills too it keeps the value and look of the hat.

Maybe I missed it. What happened to the .gov job?
Nothing! That's still pending.

I've lived just about everywhere, done just about everything, have a somewhat colorful past so.. It is actually kind of logical it could take "several months" to get that Security Clearance. (I was updating a few people individually; it is in a "period of silence" until they get back to me and say, "Congratulations SCSM your SC was granted etc etc When can you start!"

I've been Whistlin' Dixie and trying to not annoy the shop that has the Subaru for now. One more shot with that. Then I'll put the grenade in it myself. (But I DO hope they don't just do it "sometime in October" like has been past performance, etc, yeah they are slammed because everyone in a 20 mile radius comes to them for work and it's only 3 or 4 people but............... I'm *technically* a "preferred customer." Or "loyal customer".. frequent flyer, or whatever you want to call it.)

The Subaru is better for deliveries than the Taurus anyways......
