What are you doing right now?

What phone do you have now? I've got the XS and keep thinking about another but don't need one. If I did get a new one I'd get the 13 regular model and save a lot of money. Latest/greatest = way most expensive and likely not needed. Wish I'd matured to that point a lot sooner and had a lot bigger bank account now because of it.
I have the 12 Pro now. Kinda outdated at this point. I’ve never held onto a phone this long. Going on 3 years. Normally we get new ones as soon as the two year contract is up. The problem with the regular one is the camera once you’ve had a pro camera you don’t want to downgrade to the regular iPhone camera. If they offer me a good trade I’m definitely going to get it as much as I hate trading in phones. I want to pay straight out for this one though and I have to get it at the release as they are going to be in very short supply due to a screen shortage.

What are 3 things the new one will do that yours won't do? Kinda outdated as in nobody oohs and aahs over it anymore when they see it? Or kinda outdated in that it doesn't even have X, Y and Z that are on/in the new one? When they make it so updates won't install, then it's outdated. Until then it just isn't the newest toy. And which do you need more, newest toys or building wealth?

Watching the Cincinnati Reds @ Arizona Diamondbacks. Dad is a lifelong Reds fan so Reds for him. Give me the Diamondbacks win lol. I don’t mind the Reds but i would not put them over the Diamondbacks. Reds stadium is amazing we went there almost 10 years ago. I wanted to get dad a Reds hat for his birthday September 1st but mom said he has enough hats so I got him a Matco cutting board instead lol.

Tied with the Rangers. I’ve heard they have done great here recently. They need to make it to the World Series they are the only team that has never been. I just got my Mariners hat yesterday so I can show some support haha.
They were bouncing near the cellar a month ago. Just fun to watch lots of wins. With the Mariners we have been crashed on the rocks so many times, I'm numb to the let downs. So many terrible years mixed with hopeful years.

It's just baseball.

Watched on AppleTV last night.

This AM doing travel junk.

I don’t need it. However it’s about half the price if I fix my current phone which has a loose charging port and apparently requires it to be sent to Apple and has to be tightened internally. The camera is a big thing for me. It’s supposed to be better than the one I have. Those are the main reasons. It’s super annoying having to prop my phone up on an ink pen at night so the charger will stay in place. I couldn’t tell you any other reasons why I need it but I’m thinking hard on getting it. My phone has also been having wifi connection issues recently not sure if that’s a problem with the wifi connections that I try to connect too or something else. I know nothing about that kind of thing so I just keep restarting it when it happens and it works fine for awhile.

Smart phones, a black hole that sucks in huge amounts of our money and our time, never to be retrieved again. Check out Tello.com to possibly save large amounts on the monthly plan.

Getting my 2000 Hayabusa ready to show someone at noon who wants to buy it. Bought the Busa brand new and it's kind of a sentimental machine, but it doesn't get ridden hardly any more (my XSR900 is the fun bike) so decided to sell the Busa and maybe buy a new dual purpose 2024 Kawasaki KLX300.

Does the downspout water drain thru the PVC and how did it get that plugged up ? What about the corrugated black pipe ?
First the corrugated elephant trunk is the unrelated footing drain and it seems to run (uphill?) to the shop or just really connects to shop and shop actually drains there to funklily made hole. It is well perforated and was not plugged but we teed it dropped it down to rock drain just for added drainage. There was never a problem with this drain.

The problem was out downspout and backwash water from softener - see the two white PVC perf pipes - one from shop other from house. They got plugged mainly because neither was actually capped off so ground water during the supersaturated winter of 2021 drove dirt and rocks up the pipe to meet normal debris coming down. Seems a bit counterintutive but junk worked its way up the pipe plus the junk in the gutters made a good 5-6 feet of nasty pluggage that my power washer could get past but not remove.

The drain rock is around 5 feet deep under that perf pipe.

Not an Expert but trying to make sense of this :
So the top pipe that runs horizontal was plugged and you tied it to the two outside pipes that run vertically and capped them off ? So those outside PVC pipes must be perforated on the bottom and the water empties into the gravel .

Ran out this morning as I found a set of snows for my Corolla--didn't want to step down to 15" wheels but for the price I figured it was a deal. Want to go for a bicycle ride, but it's kinda sunny and humid right now. But if I wait it's likely to rain. Decisions...

Need to figure out if I'll put a trailer hitch onto my car, Toyota "forbids" it but etrailer has one. I haven't had a car in nearly 20 years that didn't have one, feels like being naked... I really don't want to tow with a CVT but I like to take my bicycle to the not-so-local rail trail in the fall. As it was, those snows didn't fit "well" in the Corolla, a trailer would have been nice to use.

Ultimately I just want to enjoy the weekend, school starts for the kids next week. BUT in a huge turn of events... they all have licenses. And cars. Life no longer revolves around their needs. Well, maybe paying for their needs, but suddenly I can do what I want, when I want, and they can too. I'm starting to like this chapter of life...

Trying to decide what cap to buy next since I got paid lol. Thinking of the Toronto Blue Jays which I think is a sweet cap, Colorado Rockies two tone purple and black, Chicago White Sox an iconic cap that most people could identify because of the logo, the classic Chicago Cubs hat, or the Miami Marlins hat. I already have an old Florida Marlins hat. Getting closer and closer to 30. My dad really likes my Mariners the thinks it looks good I do too. I like all of them honestly. Got to say my least favorite by far is the Oakland Athletics hat too much yellow but I will wear it occasionally maybe if I have something with green or yellow on.

No worries. I'm probably not doing a great job with my words.

The exact way we found the pipes is shown in the top picture in post #4,301 above. The dirty white PVC pipe to the right kinda behind the black flex pipe was the main offender. It is perforated and was not capped. We added all the brighter white PVC as show in the later picture. Yes a bunch of around 5/8" holes on the bottom.

That super plugged pipe actually angles down at a steep angle and just ended. I think the steep angle actually made it worse for intrusion off ground water and debris. Even capped though, that one is so short I can't see it being able to keep up.

The dirty white pipe to the left in the pic comes from the shop and slopes ok is perforated and had maybe 10 inches of pluggage and never a problem.

For $1500 and the nasty $598 scope fee I'm done with this and it will easily last us and the next owners.
