Watching NFL and having some snacks. Carrots, a hard boiled egg, hummus and some salt & vinegar kettle cooked chips.
How much utility ... like a pickup or on the lower end of the scale a hatchback car with fold down seats?
Hatchback level, or preferably, a station wagon. Something I can put the usual trashcans into and close the door. The utility our CRV has is ok, ‘cept its my sons and not always around, and is end of life. Anything that won’t fit in, I can just get my utility trailer and use that.
Speaking of which, must be able to take a bike rack. And tolerate me standing on the hitch. Goes with the idea of being able to pull a trailer, but wanted that explicit. I looked at an xD on cl but etrailer doesn’t sell hitches for it and it seems unwise—so it’s too small for me.
I kinda regretted my Corolla after the first week. I found snow tires on cl, bought them, only to find only two would fit in the trunk. Maybe if I fought enough three could have fit… and the pass through is tiny on this car. And Toyota says no hitch, and when I looked, there is a lack of metal back there. Ok commuter, but not for anything else.
Miss having a pickup but I drive 300 miles per week easily and tires only last 40k, so all the costs slowly add up.
Just pruned the elderberry and currant bushes. Hands are raw, cold and chapped. In February I'm moving the elderberry "trees" to their own bed. Those things grow like crazy and take over anything near.

Wanted to watch the Texans game but we weren’t home and of course the Chiefs won it boo lol. I’m tired of the Chiefs they are like the Dodgers of football. I wanted a Lions-Texans Super Bowl since neither team has appeared in one. Hopefully it will at least be the Lions if not it will be my 11th (I think) consecutive year of not watching it lol unless the Chiefs get eliminated completely. I think the last Super Bowl I watched was 2013 for Ravens vs 49ers. I only remember that because the power went out and also both the coaches were brothers and led opposing teams lol.

Oh goodness we got us another Bills fan lol. Guy at my church is a Bills fan. I don’t mind them. I’m kinda hoping for Lions- Rams now but honestly as long as we keep Kansas City out of it me and dad are going to watch it. I’ve never been this into football but I got very bored this baseball off season without sports.

Actually cancel the last post lol. Forgot Rams can’t play the Lions in the Super Bowl because both are NFC. Ok go Lions vs any team other than KC lol. Preferably Baltimore or Buffalo.
To be honest, I only really watch the Superbowl, I'm not really into American football. My wife follows it, and because we live close to Buffalo, we cheer for the Bills. We also cheer for the Eagles.

I never watch football but I want to see the Bills do well because Buffalo is the closest city to me that has an NFL team. From my girlfriend’s house to Buffalo is less than an hour away (or two hours away from my place) Most people in Southern Ontario tend to root for the Bills. On the other side I noticed that a lot of people in Western NY are Toronto Blue Jays fans as they can get to the Jays games in less than two hours but if they wanted to see the Yankees or Mets play then it’s a much longer drive.
The game on now is nuts. 31-21 still in first half

These games are fun, because I really don't care who wins. I do root for underdogs, just for more fun. Sometimes I get bored and do something semi-productive. Like take a nap.

Well neither team is going to make history this year lol. Oh well as long as Chiefs don’t go I’ll be happy. Let’s go Rams.

Honestly neither D in the second game were up to par, but the Lions choked. There is no other way to put it. Sure the Redskins made a perfect trap and laid in wait, but Detroit happily took the bait and got beat.
I have not even checked the times of today's games. I'm leaving for 8:30 church in an hour. I might do a hike today. Dunno.
