Chilling on my lunch break. I hope we get thru the rest of this week without any more screw ups from you know who. But at least it definitely feels a lot better knowing I’m not underpaid now and actually being appreciated for the work I do.
I just finished AM pickleball - everybody on the courts with the exception of maybe one guy was better than I (3.5ish). Not discouraged or depressed, as it really helped my game under heavy fire. Wow, I'm super sweaty and beat.
So then, I get home and main garbage has been picked up so throw big blue roller in the truck for return up driveway road. Phew, man nothing worse than a garbage can in August. Shstinky!! Cat poop and loaded diapers would be a spring breeze in comparison. So I washed out our main garbage can, got all the stuck debris out then used this gallon of WM cleaner/bleach stuff I just had sitting there. Amazingly effective! Drain drying now.

Third write-up is the charm, I'm guessing.
I know it's tough to find good people but don't hire ANYONE just because desperate....... tighten up the reference checks, fer example. Yeah I know, no one says anything bad, but "would you hire him again?" used to be an ok question.
The dealership is lucky that his screw-ups didn't hurt or kill someone.

Enjoy! Ours certainly can wear me out quick.They say the hardest workout is to take a 3 year old to the playground and do exactly what they do for an hour.

He looked good on paper. But they don’t check references. He worked at a chain tire shop for two years and typically would tell everyone here he was better than them because of that. He walked up to one of the master techs and said he was more qualified than anyone to do tires because of his tire experience. He had a very high ego. Let’s just say it’s a lot more peaceful at the shop today because he was also very loud when he talks.

Just left the Chinese buffet. I wanted takeout Chinese but the buffet was good I suppose. I don’t enjoy sitting down in restaurants especially when I have to pay for the food lol. Now I’m going to miss the first inning or two of the game so not happy about that.

Lol. They got to get going I’m trying to grill these up quickly. They have to be in a different part of the state that’s 4 hours away by 5pm for dad’s high school reunion. I could have went but I don’t want to hang out a bunch of old guys that I don’t know lol
