What are you doing right now?

Still trying to get my new dog broke in. He's a rescue pug/beagle. Pug body with a beagle snot and personality. Apparently never allowed to roam or walk much on a leash. He's getting better and he can get out of his harness if left alone tied up. And doesn't do well alone in the house apparently from the howls and barking I hear.

One thing I was doing is taking him out while I was doing work and hauling with the mower. But the noise of the thing and the exhaust shooting out on the right side makes most dogs afraid. So if I now take him out and start working with the mower he wants to go back in and is a nice pup. :)

He's got loose a couple of times and stays close but if he stirs up a varmint or a cat he probably wouldn't stop until they were up a tree in or in a hidey-hole. I usually teach them the perimeter of the 2 acers or so. One side is a road though and that's what they need to be exposed to and learn about. It's somewhat isolated by a deep ditch.

One of the neighbors has two huge dogs they walk every day. The little guy doesn't know about size apparently and starts barking in attack mode.

Trying to have a relaxing Sunday but hard to do when everyone is grumpy and takes it out on each other. I can’t even enjoy a TV show without being interrupted. I’ve got to stay in a good mood so I’m not mad tomorrow when I go ask for a raise. My niece and nephews coming over soon too so got to be nice to them.

Cooling off after a short bike ride, then lunch. Getting bored on the roads I’ve already done, really need a car with a trailer hitch. Great day to be outside, so will do some work around the house—and shop online (spent most of yesterday doing that).

I'm fixing my manual radiator fan controller that I fixed too gooder a couple of weeks ago to the point it doesn't work. So far lost a small nut and now a mounting screw. But I'll persevere.

Had the hound out loose but he keeps running off to a stack of 8" concert blocks. Perfect nose sized holes.

I play amateur radio and my antennas are ropes up in trees. Pulling them down now, inspecting the rope, and checking on things. Ideally I'd find where to put the next antenna, as Mother Nature abhors antennas in trees, and I often lose one per winter.

I’m making a cheat sheet for tomorrow when I talk to my boss about a raise. I’ve got to let these nerves go he is just another person and I’ve got to tell myself that. I get nervous easily which is why I’m bringing this cheat sheet lol. I’m going to request $3 more than I’m making now. I feel that’s fair and I’ll negotiate to $2 more than I make. This is all just really stressful for me but I know I can do it because I have too.

What are your main reasons that you're going to tell him why you should get a raise? He's probably going to want to know the reasoning.
Minimal comebacks, never miss work, never late, no longer get any incentive for selling things, always willing to stay late, always letting people borrow tools, turning a lot of hours. More than any other hourly person.

Well I got it. I didn’t chicken out. My coworkers practically had to push me in there but I did it lol. I pleaded my case. He told me that he didn’t know I was unhappy and that I wasn’t someone they could afford to lose. Effective Monday. $4 increase I only went in asking for $3.

H.C That is GREAT.

I will admit, sometimes I was the same way. Too timid! I didn't even know I was doing good on something until I got a higher level reward. Contrary to common belief it's actually the rare boss who tells employees they are doing a good job.
