What are you doing right now?

Trying to clean my (home) office, have stuff I want to work on, but no desk space.

Gave up looking for a phone that I brought home from the transfer station--it had a speaker phone, and I thought it'd be great in my office. I think I left it in a shopping bag, and... I bet I accidentally threw it out some time ago (ironic, it went right back to the transfer station, eh?). SMH.

Watched the Deadpool movies over the last couple of weekends, might watch the extra features tonight.

I turned unwanted bar soap into shaving soap. The soap went into my blender, then into a pot with a shot of almond oil and glycerin. The smooth and creamy product went into twist dispensers. and I let the soap dry out for a few days. Ten minutes ago I tried out my shaving soap stick and it works very well! I have four pounds worth of shaving soap. I suppose a beard is not in my future.

I'll PM you my address. If it's anything like the Nivea shaving stick I use from time to time, you have a winning combination sir!

Just went to a Redbox machine to try to use my coupons to buy movies. It only lets you rent movies with the coupon lol. Still might go back and buy them though since there is one that still works in town. The rest have been removed or shut down. Shame what Redbox came too. I don’t like streaming all that well it’s ok for tv shows but movies you should own on disk and VHS so nobody can take those.

Planning out some cool stuff to do around Baltimore and Washington DC this week when we go besides the baseball games. They are calling for rain on Thursday so hopefully the DC game doesn’t get rained out. I never knew there was so much stuff around Baltimore. I’ve been thru Baltimore but never stayed there and have been to DC once.

Fixing this 'plantation style' washer water supply bibb and laundry faucet combo. The 3 way washer bibbs leaked when shut off when doing washer repair so I replaced both of them.

None of the big hardware stores carry this type of setup. Nor I do have the time to 'modernize' the plumbing with separate washer bibbs and faucet. I'm glad local hardware stores still carry older stuff (at a steep price.)

After I got my Polaris Magnum hit wired, I took a rip on the trails and out to the hay field. Checked the swaths as its supposed to be bailed soon. We have had a pile of heat but lots of humidity and morning dew. To my surprise, the swaths are perfect.

Then took a rip further down the trails to the steepest segment. Shaved almost a second off my hill run. Can't complain.

Took the pack into the high country. The wife says I work too much. She wants to hang out with me which is weird 'cause no one wants to hang out with me....

And for the record I think the duck thing is dumb as dog poo (along with the Jeep wave) but the wife loves it and insists we save the ducks:

Cut down another dead ash today. Had to get the road commissioner out to remove a warning sign as it was in the way and watch for traffic. I was 20 ft down in the ditch. Came down in one piece, I figured it's bust when it hit. That ash is strong wood.

Got it cut into three pieces and drug the big trunks pieces out of the ditch with my JD F510. That mower would be a pulling beast if it had better traction. Still managed to get them pulled up hill and out of the weeds.

There are 4 more but the are all busted and tangled up with other trees so just have to wait until the fall apart.

Getting things ready for our vacation. Hopefully everything goes as planned. I know the eating won’t because for some reason my parents always want to try new places when we go on vacation. I’m one for just eating fast food or getting take out food and going back to the hotel because I can’t stand eating in a place I’m unfamiliar with. Oh well though I guess. I made it clear I’m not paying for anything except fast food.

I just got back from a 100km drive in the Corvette on some of my favorite twisty roads near my house. I know it was exactly 100km because when I left the odometer was at 97,700 and when I returned it was at 97,800. Nerd alert!

On the way to Baltimore… hopefully anyway. We are about 3 hours behind schedule because dad always makes us late. We dropped dog off at 9:15 this morning. Had to pay $32 late fee on that because she was supposed to be there at 8am. Already starting as a rough day. Hopefully it will get better but now once we get to Baltimore we won’t have time to do anything tonight. Mom is like me and can’t stand being late to places. Dad has been on me all night because he is going to hit DC traffic I’m like well that’s not my problem go a different way lol.

Just got to the place we are staying in Baltimore. Holy crap I’ve never seen so much traffic in all my life lol. Not even Pittsburgh was as bad. I’d much rather have a hotel than this place but oh well.
