What are you doing right now?

I think having a desktop is important. And the Mac is supposed to be good for photo editing and video editing which I do a lot of now that I’ve figured out how to do it. Like I said won’t be going into debt with it. Didn’t go into debt with the phone or laptop so no reason to spend like $4k on a credit card for a iMac. I’m trying to get as many Apple products as possible. Hate the company but love the products so it’s a win for me at least. Maybe I need to read the book again. But I love being able to buy stuff. And Apple will always have the value should I resell it.
Yeah, it's the love of spending/buying that's trouble. Sounds like maybe you should have bought the iMac and not the MacBook then. But one of the two can just be a huge wad of money sitting collecting dust like your old iPhone while you use the other one.

They would not give me the value for the phone. Plus we are paranoid about trading in old phones. Worried information could still be saved deep in it somewhere. I just have it chilling I still use it for pictures occasionally. Since I’m a collector it looks great. Only reason I traded in the XR I had is because they gave me way over value on the chip shortage deal. Wish I still had it though would look excellent in my display.

Nothing remains in them if you properly reset them and there are clear instructions on how to do so. They wouldn't give you your inflated valuation. And if it is worth that then reset it and sell it to someone. Plenty of ways to avoid letting it sit and continue to depreciate until it truly is worth nothing. And frankly, if it's still good enough for pictures it's good enough it didn't need replaced. But spending money is more fun. BTDT for too many years. Wise up sooner rather than later.

We are getting ready to go out and ride around again. It’s pouring down rain. Probably end up at Walmart for the 5th consecutive day in a row. I get bored of places like that. Wish we had an Apple Store around here even though they don’t like people who just look around and they will tell you that straight up. I put in a request to go to Best Buy to look at the CDs as come December 31st they are going bye bye. I still use CDs in my car so does dad. So might make it there and I have to get dog food too.

Pawn shops are a good place to buy used music CDs.
Absolutely 👍. I was in a thrift store yesterday they had a good selection but nothing I’d listen to. My eyes hurt after looking at all of them trying to find good ones haha 😂. I figured we’d check Best Buy in case any were really cheap which at Best Buy isn’t likely haha.

Just left Target. They don’t really have anything different from Walmart. Personally I can’t stand the way Target is laid out. Feels like it’s the early 90s or something because of the lack of technology products they have lol. Forgot how expensive Target is too. Now off to Kroger to get stuff for lunches for the week. I kinda miss school because this would be the start of Christmas break. I definitely need an extended break. Mom is off for the next 2.5 weeks lol. She said she has to go Christmas shopping for me though and she has my list so hopefully she can get some stuff. I have to get gifts for my parents and sister still.

Day 1 of whenever of my 2001 Toyota Tundra Stereo upgrade. Upgrading the 10 year old system with a single 5 channel amp and Polk Audio DB6502 6.5" speakers in all four doors. The subwoofer stays the same (hint its under the center console ala JL Steathbox subwoofer.)

Removing the two Rockford Fosgate Class AB 2ch amplifiers from under the seats. RF Punch 325.2 powering a Kicker subwoofer and a Punch 400.2 powering Polk front door component speakers. Removed the old 4ga power wire and interconnects since all new wire will be run. Gave the under seat area a good vacuuming too.

Test fitting the new AudioControl LC-5.1300 Class D 5ch amp under the driver seat. Checking for seat rail clearance and power wiring spacing since new 1/0 gauge power wire will be run under the carpet. The smaller footprint of this Class D amp compared to the old Class AB amp is surprising since the tradeoff is higher efficiency which means less heat = smaller package vs sound fidelity+poor efficiency = large heatsinks but this isn't a audiophile-esqe system.
I was looking at a comparable Rockford 5ch amp but this amp has a lot of built-in setup tuning tools which allows you to detect input and output distortion via LEDS and make proper gain adjustments from there. The Amp Gain Control/Knob is NOT a Volume Control!

And this part ran way too long. Running interconnects, speaker wire, and tuning will be on another day.

I’m chilling for a minute on my laptop. Dad just got home so parents are eating nasty chili that they made I had Chinese food that I picked up on the way home. Mom keeps texting me but I haven’t looked at my phone and my computer only receives iMessages so I don’t see any of those ugly green texts on my computer lol 😂. We are getting ready to go to the gas station then drive around for a bit.

Watching The Voice finally. That Jackie Roar is awsome IMO, hope she wins!
