What are you doing right now?

Here in Louisiana, they're talking about doing away with inspection stickers. That's just great. All the northern Rednecks in Louisiana will be driving COUSIN IT vehicles on the roads.
I'm northern and Californian, so I'm doubly ignorant. What is this vehicle of which you write?

I’m surfing all the online markets for Blazers. There are so many out there for sale just most i’m seeing are way overpriced. I found a pretty nice Jimmy with over 200,000 on it. I would not mind buying it but I’m told by the family that I’m nuts if I buy that because of the mileage lol. I understand about the mileage but those engines are bulletproof from what I hear. Problem is I don’t have money for any other one because they are all so much. But it’s what my heart is set on. That or one of the vehicles on my list that I posted last week I think it was but the Blazer and it’s equivalents are number 1. Heck now I have to get one as my dad bought me an oil filter for one because he knows I’m going to eventually get one lol 😂.

Beginning to transition to WiFi 6E in all the PC's. Picked up 5 Intel AX210 M.2 cards and still shopping for a wireless router to take advantage of the new 6GHz band.

Did the second upgrade on a HP Envy 15m-dsxxx Convertible Laptop. Knock on HP for being junk but this is the easiest laptop to service, along with the service manual available on HP's website with details and diagrams. The best part after putting it back together and booting it up was no BIOS lock on the WiFI card. Pretty sweet upgrade.

Curious as to why you are upgrading all devices...do you have a lot of frequency congestion or range issues on your 5GHz band?

I like to be on the bleeding edge of Wi-Fi tech. Plus many of these PC's had 802.11ac (WiFi 5) cards in them and I'd like to leverage the WiFi 6 technology in my current wireless router.

Just completed a third computer with the upgrade. Unlike plugging in a USB wireless adapter or swapping out a PCI-E card, these modules are a bear to get into, requiring motherboard removal or getting a bunch of components out of the way.

Decided to rehab an old Heathkit supply that was given to me, adding voltage readout and current readout. Voltage readout was easy, getting decent current measurement, not so much.

Way more fun than being outside in our 85F & what must be >80% humidity.

Went to look at a Blazer earlier. It’s not the worst I’ve seen but definitely not the best either. Has a used transmission in it which was red flag one, clogged charcoal canister which was red flag two and interior is junk red flag 3. I was actually considering buying it but dad said he would not. I was like we will think about it so basically we told them no in nice words as that’s what I would think when someone told me that is no. I know there was millions of them made between 95-05 which is the years I want but finding one in good shape with low mileage is hard.

Now we are eating an early dinner. We just mowed and weed eat.

Getting ready to leave work. Been studying for the redo of the test tomorrow. I don’t feel as nervous but I know it will get to me when the trooper arrives. I do feel better about everything. I’ve slowly learned the light machine. With hardly no one to help it’s hard. No one uses the machine because you really aren’t required too unless the lamp is visibly out of alignment but even then no one does the one kid that does know recently done the test. I have told myself I need to pass this because the extra money sounds amazing plus it’s considered an advancement too. At least you only have to do it in front of the trooper one time. The rest of the time you just renew unless you let it lapse.

Just about to start the return leg of our 3,000km round trip from the prairies to the west coast. My wife had a work issue and could not make it so its just the kids and I.

I can find you one but you'd have to travel. Expand your search 200-300 miles and include North Carolina. You'll find some good ones.

So, I came to post something completely else, but I saw @gmh101358 post and it just completely made me forget all about the original thing. Have to go hug my animals.

@gmh101358 I am sorry for your loss.

🙁

Actually from earlier today. Staying at my SIL while my home is being built. Gave her my old Lawn-Boy to mow the lawn and kill mosquitoes:)
I installed a new carb, ignition coil, spark plug and primer bulb months ago. Starts on the first pull. Set the air vane governor spring to 3200 RPM.
