Sweating my arse off at 11 pm in a 90 deg house with no power and dead calm air outside thats still at 91 deg.
No backup strategy at all for anything? Not even camp gennies?
Where in the PNW are you- Ive got backup you can borrow if you can come get it.
We have miniature plum tress that put out thousands of baby plums red and yellow - the fruit is delicious.
Prob is the pits are big compared to something like a cherry and hours of picking, cleaning, and pitting yield very little preserves.

No generator - thanks for the generous offer. Power company replaced the transformer that supplied 11 houses on my street about 24 hrs after I lost power, so all good now. Thought it was funny I lost power right at the hottest time of the hottest day ever recorded in the Seattle area. Should have played the lotto, lol.

Making mini me keychains
Installed new quarter turn 3/8" water outlet fittings.
Faucet mock up. This replaced a kitchen faucet previously installed due to the 8" spacing for a widespread bathroom faucet. Capped the extra holes might install a soap dispenser in one of the holes later on.
Installed new drainage piping and connected hoses to water outlets. Performed leak test.
Checking for overflow function and drain leak test by filling sink until water drains into overflow hole. More drain leak testing again.
Had one leak but changing out one of the slip joint washers helped. Did have to use a mix of Keeney (Lowes) and Everbilt (Home Depot) plumbing parts and the Everbilt set comes with rubber slip ring gaskets which seal better than the Keeney plastic slip ring gaskets.

Working. Then going home to more work because I have to put a hood cable on my dads truck. We have another new guy at work I’m training him so I can move up. Except he doesn’t have any tools so he has to borrow ours which is a little annoying but oh well.

Covered in grease trying to convince my parents to get me Chinese food that I’ve been wanting since I worked hard at work and come home to have to do repairs on my dads truck. Lol. Probably not going to get my Chinese food even though it’s probably all I would eat right now.
