Vinegar: distilled white vinegar or cider vinegar?

White distilled vinegar mixed with Dawn (has to be Dawn) in a spray bottle is a better shower/tub cleaner than any product I've tried.

I have 3 different kinds in my house: white vinegar for general stuff that just needs a pH adjustment, Taiwan "Industrial Research" black vinegar for my wife's salad (she grew up with that stuff and won't take anything else), and a sherry wine vinegar for braising meat.

I think the stuff we have at home is distilled. We use it for cleaning though I’d never drink the stuff like my dad has before . I don’t think it was the distilled he drank but still gross.

I use a 50/50 mix. Some claim too many bubbles and use 2/3 vinegar and 1/3 Dawn.
