Friendly Friday at Walmart- what is happening?

GON, apologies if my post came out poorly. All I can tell you is, I believe the world would be a better place if we all cooled the judgement based on appearance. I've been on the wrong side of those looks... I know how it feels.

I know you to be a generous person and meant no ill-will in your post.
No I'll will ever crossed my mind.

The Pastor is in his late 60s. The Pastor was a former Uh60 pilot, prior to that he was a UH 60 crew chief. He was exposed to many chemicals during those times. He has many medical issues, it would not surprise me if a physician assessment is that his days are numbered.

Despite his physical health, this Pastor preaches three times per week, and maintains the Church. The Church is old fashioned, and does not attract younger people/families. Being a military community, the church deeply struggles to find members.

Pastor has a hard hand to play, but he works tirelessly to spread the message, and maintain a church doctrine as he believes the Bible expects.

Were you wearing your Rolex?
Actually in a 30 day sleep study, and wearing a watch with no dials. No idea what this watch with no dials does, but the medical people told me don't take the watch off. It is a small plastic thing, looks like a kids toy watch.

. If one thinks they're too good to shop anywhere, fine - just don't go. No need to announce it to the world.
There's a difference between "thinks they're too good" and feeling it's unsafe due to recent events like a stabbing. Trust your instincts especially if you're older.

In our previous town there was a fatal shooting one night in the parking lot but since it was between known individuals over something stupid we didn't feel threatened going there. Being armed helps too.

Every person in the store looked me in the eye and said hello. Walmart associates, customers, seemed every single person.
Not sure about the customers, but the staff generally do this as a way of showing acknowledgement (that they see you, and know you are there). This is done in attempt to prevent you from stealing.

One day I left my wallet by credit card reader. Got home and realized what I had done; I thought the worst. CC fraud...
Drove back, and this drop dead gorgeous clerk smiled, walked into an office and retrieved my wallet.

Our store is doing a full renovation, when the smoke clears it should be real good. During the renovation the employees seem to be able to tell us where specific items can be found.

Out local Walmart has always been pretty good. I will say that they have a problem hiring enough check out people. I don't know that I've ever heard music in there. But I do hear the "bing" sound when the camera taking my picture from the lens int the ceiling detects me and shows me my picture.

Maybe something like this, one function of the Apple Apple Watch
First one is last night, next one is for the week, next one is for the month

This is just a representation of one criteria of watch records while you’re sleeping. I would take up a page or two of this thread if I also included heart rate while I sleep and respiration rate while I sleep and if I’m forgetting anything else

In general I have found Walmart employees to be helpful. Of course, I shop mostly at smaller Walmarts in smaller towns, too. I think a lot depends on the manager and the leadership he/she provides.
In No. Va Walmarts most employees don't speak very good English. The you ask them a question, they look at you with their mouth open. You don't even try to ask where something is. Out in the mid west, the Walmarts I've been in had high school and college kids working in them and were very helpful.

I have never personally taken advantage of the senior hours that a lot of business offer. But a few of my friends do, and they really like going early, when the store is quieter and less crowded. Perhaps I should give it a try.

...and then she said to you: "Mr. Keryk, that's the third time this week you've left your wallet at my register!".

When I shop at Walmart, Home Depot, or Lowes. I know what isle and bay the product is in from their websites. Makes shopping easier.

DollarTree has coffee pot cleaner for $1.25.

Walmart+ has been worth every penny for us. I only tend to set foot in one now when I need to pick up my one prescription that can't be shipped, and the odd and end random stuff I need last minute. Other than that, deliver it to me.

My son was bad about his wallet - but not his phone …
💡 came on - got him a small faraday wallet with AirTag …
A week later he left it at the post office - and knew shortly after. Fortunately someone had given it to a USPS employee

I tell people this when I see the combo wallet and phone covers - I’d never want to lose both - just one there is hope …

If you drive a Tesla you will never forget your cell phone. Don't ask me how I know...
