Yes and no. They approve the use of 0W-20 and recommend it's use in extreme cold below -22F. Normal everyday driving and temperatures they still stick to 5W-20. I've never seen Ford come out and say use it all the time.
I've got Ford vehicles and I personally use OW-20 year round.
Most Ford's have been 5W-20. Some high performance engines or EcoBoost engines or truck engines are 5W-30.
Their hybrid drivetrains have spec of OW-20. New Maverick hybrid truck spec is OW-20
Got 11 jugs left of Castrol EP 5w20...it is Dexos1g2 approved..but with the change to g3 I doubt it will approved, probably gm phased out this license for 5w20.
