I wouldn't count on that - M1 4T is a very stout oil; so I think your 'shift quality' will remain for this OCI....
 
You might be right. If it keeps shifting this way it might convince me to keep running it. I know it's expensive and other oils might work just as well for less $$ But it only holds about 3 quarts and it's not like I'm riding 20K miles a year...
 
When you drain the Connie's oil do you drain both drain plugs, I'm thinking the previous owner only drained out of one plug and that way always left some old oil in the crank case that would mess up a UOA every time.
