A neighbor took delivery of his E-Ray a couple weeks ago, in 'Riptide blue metallic'. Apparently that is a model still in short supply, as he had to wait for awhile for it to arrive. The color looked great in the sunlight. He always wanted a Corvette, and finally has one. I hope he gets to enjoy it for awhile, as he's in treatment for Multiple Myeloma.

He says he is keeping it but if he puts 500 miles on a year I'll be surprised. Example of another car he doesn't drive is a 2014 Mercedes of some sort that was special ordered and the guy backed out . He said to good of a deal to turn down . 4,000 miles on it . Just what he does .
Well that's fine if he is keeping it. I just keep buying newer ones and putting lots of miles on them and buying another one from a low mileage seller. My 2014 Corvette only has 30,000 miles on it and I put on around 5,000 miles per year and this will be my third summer with the car. I will end up buying a C8 in the future and I see lot's of nice ones for sale right now for about $65,000 or less. They slowly always go down in value. I always buy low mileage Corvettes. There is something to be said about sipping on a cold beverage and admiring a nice looking vehicle that's fully detailed in the garage. The more the merrier!
