My brother just won in a raffle a 24 Corvette Stingray 2lt . He has paid the sales tax , income tax and had film protection installed. Vehicle has 140 miles on it as it sits . Decided he doesn't want it , Anyone have any idea what a dealer might pay for for it to resell ? It's sort of a one of Blue Angles Special Edition.

What was MSRP. I would shop it with dealers in your area...or maybe Corvette specialty dealers like Corvette Mike... not sure where you are located . They do seem to be not as hot as they once were though. Being a Blue Angles MIGHT help out a bit

We are in Michigan , Corvette Mike on YouTube etc ?

need basic info you didnt provide for that. such as msrp. or full window sticker.
I'm waiting on his reply, local Chevrolet dealer said they would buy it for 66k , he passed .

Kind depends on the area but there is a used 2024 3LT with under 500 miles in my area right now at a local dealer for 76,9xx. The Blue should help it sell. I would be surprised if a dealer gave more than $67,000 for it. The Corvette market is a little soft the last 6 months.

Sticker was 80k , yeah if he got anywhere near 70 I'd say sell it .

He doesn't want to deal with people wanting to look at it and ask for test drives . That's why he is looking at the dealer options to get rid of it . He realizes he's leaving some money on the table but really doesn't care. He just didn't want to get swindled . Lol

I would also consider some of the car resellers like Carvana, CarMax, etc.
Given that it is a very low mile and desirable car, there are also "premium" car dealers which might actually bid on it (ones which are not brand based, but deal in luxury and high-end sports cars).
Best if he's not in a hurry; the right buyer will come along.

If he doesn't really care about leaving money on the table he should get at least 5 bids from dealers. Provide tons of pictures and talk to people in person if possible. Many dealers buy vehicles without driving them and put a stipulation if there are any surprises the check will not be made. The Angels special edition could possibly make it more difficult to sell to the average buyer. Pictures of the vehicle would help since I never heard of the Blue Angels Corvette. Remember dealers can buy brand new Corvettes for a huge discount and some dealers are taking $7 to $10 thousand off the window sticker. Do not put any more miles on the vehicle.

If he does not want to deal with people and he does not want the car, why did he get involved in this Raffle? Why did he get the Film Protection Installed?

Do you know what he paid for in Taxes?

He was a Navy pilot , the museum was having a fund raiser. He enjoys the museum and bought tickets to support it. Who ever thinks they are going to win .
