Using Jaso FB in an engine where FD is recommended

Probably because it's not ashless and smokes more than the requirements for FC and FD.

Actually it is ashless. All I know is my 4-mix engines run dirty with it and my nose doesn't like the way it smells. Lots of highly esteemed FD oils are not ashless.

I didn't realize it but that is FD.
