I'm not sure what this has to do with what was "given" to us though. It's not really about that for me. It's about finding the truth and whether they/them are real. Agree on the teachings and legacy, although there is a lot of cherry picking that comes with that and brutal wars fought over it all.

It was only 400 years ago that humans discovered the sun was at the center of our system, not the Earth. I have no doubts that intelligent lifeforms are out there somewhere, I just doubt that a civilization that can traverse the galaxy somehow crash lands or does flybys on our planet.
I used to get excited about the subject but now burnt out on it. If there are UFOs from another world, they, at this point do not intend to exterminate us.
The greatest threat of any type of human extermination by a factor most likely in the 1000's is from ourselves and the other nuclear powers of the world. If anything, maybe creatures from another planet would save us!

My point is that it’s hard to argue against his existence, although many try very hard to say he was a made up figure, when his teachings, philosophy and his way of life have had such a profound effect on the entire globe for over two millennia.
Meanwhile aliens are always elusive, just outside of our grasp it seems. Just observing. Why would such an advance civilization hide for so long? We would pose absolutely no threat to them.

As to the second part, anyone's guess. Same way we observe lower intelligent animal species on this planet? Who knows.
Maybe they arent hiding. We might be to them, intelligence wise, how we are to an ant hill in your lawn.
I get that and i'm close to that point too. At the end of the day it's always "this person said xyz or saw xyz". People want something more substantial. I'm one of those people.
I disagree with these kind is comparisons. You stick your foot into an ant hill and they will react. Yes, they don’t know what disturbed them, human, animal whatever. But they perceive their surroundings.
Aliens do no such things with us.
I think ghosts or being from other dimensions would be a better comparison.
Something like us being in three dimensions can see/perceive two dimensional objects, but a two dimensional object would not see/perceive a third dimension.
But the notion of us being too stupid to see/perceive these highly advanced being is not something I can logically accept.

The trouble with this guy is he's made a whole career out of the subject. He's everywhere on the internet and TV.
Not really. He's only come out with this information since 2017. Even if so, that doesn't mean it's not true.
Not from what I've noticed. I have an interest in UFO stuff and from what I've seen Elizondo is all over the media. While that does not mean he's being untruthful, it does show that he's making good money off the topic and thus has a reason to further an agenda. Don't get me wrong...I WANT to believe in this stuff as evidence of extraterrestrial activity. I'm just trying to be objective about it.

It has not really been a secret. The public has been talking about this since the late 40's. More so now of course.
People have been talking about alien visitors and their craft for decades. People talk about all sorts of things of varying validity.
What I'm speaking of is actual physical evidence. Surely some authoritative documents relating to any physical remains would have leaked our by now if any existed as well as documented pieces of any artifacts piloted by visitors from another world.
If a very junior service member could leak out reams of highly classified secret intelligence then surely someone similarly situated would have leaked out undeniable proof of alien visits by now had they ever happened.
