Ultra low profile 1/4 10mm socket options

IS there not a special tool for valve clearance adjustment?

This is the special tool for valve clearance adjustment. I just couldn't get the inspection cover off a couple of the covers. Lol.

Ah hah I see. I was mistaken about your request for a tool to do the clearance, not to get to a point to do the clearance check. I knew that Honda had one, sure Suzuki would aswell.

Can you do the inspection and adjustment whilst taking off the TB? Maybe that is for a reason....taking of the TB, perhaps for cleaning or some other inspection?

No doubt that the throttle body could use cleaning, but it barely runs at the moment.

Gas tank was full of rust and I cleaned that out. Fuel pump wire was smashed and I repaired that. I wanted to check the valves before I put the gas tank back on. If I end up having to pull the injectors off for cleaning, I may do the TB at the same time.

Here are a few pics of the clearance issues.

Last pic is successfully getting the new socket on the nut.

Nah, AFAIK the Nano stuff is all considered impact rated and tends to be too much for delicate work when every thousandth of clearance counts.

Try this for a whopping $16 at any O'Reilly. These are my secret weapon for tight spaces

Seen here Nano 10mm next to Powertorque 10mm. To be fair, the Nano is 3/8" dr while the PT is 1/4". No, they're not flipped; the Nano has to be larger at the base to accommodate the larger drive size.

OAL of Nano in 3/8" dr: .897"
OAL of PT in 1/4" dr: .667"

Either will accept a wrench instead of a square anvil, but the PT takes a much smaller wrench as seen

I don't own Nano stuff in 1/4" dr. I don't even know if they make it. View attachment 234847

I know this is an old thread, but this might help someone out.

3/8 Astro nano 10mm- 22.58mm long/15.11mm wide
1/4 Astro nano 10mm- 18.55mm long/14.46mm wide
1/4 Power Torque 10mm-17.20mm long/14.28mm wide
