Cordless tools have their place, but I don't plan on scrapping air tools anytime soon and replacing them with cordless tools. I had to sink about 20 5" lag bolts into laminated beams on an indoor construction project. A cordless impact gun did the trick, running air hose from a 60 gallon compressor in a garage down a flight of steps wasn't happening.I know just how you feel, doing the heater core or evaperator on some cars was a real pain without cordless tools. Cordless have not replaced the air tools for me but they have sure bridged a huge void.
