Try heat and a good penetrant. You could also remove the check plug and pump out the old fluid. Keep track of how much you removed and fill with the same amount
Why does this even happen? So annoying. Seems like all the fill plug needs is a dab of lubricant on its threads and flange at time of factory build. Or maybe use a copper washer? But that'd cost 2 cents more per vehicle...
I ordered a 1/2 in 8mm impact hex socket from Amazon. I will use an impact to get it off. If there isn't enough room to fit the impact gun, then I will use extensions and zip it off from outside the car
