Just about to hit 64k miles so wanted to do a trans fluid change on this one soon. Called a local shop that specializes in euro vehicles and modification, they quoted $600, which seems overall fair to me. ($250 labor, $350 in parts). They are using the Pentosin ATF8 and OE filter and OE pan gasket. Any issues with that fluid or replacing all of it at once? They quoted 8 liters. Not sure if they're using a flush machine or not.

Thanks!

Sounds about right in terms of total cost but labor prices are local after all.

I did the same on my ZF8HP in 2020.

Keep in mind that ATF8 was formulated for ZF automatics but is not an approved fluid.

I can't see spending that much on this job with aftermarket fluid, but I guess you have to use what you can get.
