Too bad. I think they're missing out on a fun car. The Toyota definitely isn't.I have a deposit on a Crown Platinum that I'll be picking up later this week. More to come.

Ah, I missed that.Yup. It is available as a 4 door, per my first bullet.
Signia isn't available with Hybrid Max, and it also lacks a spare. The Crown Signia seems more practical than the Crown sedan.
No issue for me. I've had one flat tire in 58 years of driving. I like the odds and don't need the power.Ah, I missed that.

They would be the perfect candidate for an EV, but they're a bit resistant to the idea.Just curious if they want smooth have they tried EV?
They could have borrowed our's for the weekend... Maybe a little too small? They would be the perfect candidate for an EV, but they're a bit resistant to the idea.
What engine is in it?Sorry, I forgot to update this thread. Found this car at a Phoenix area dealer and picked it up at the end of February. Dealer preinstalled a bunch of accessories and would not remove them, but ultimately worked the numbers in my favor, resulting in over $5k off msrp.
Unfortunately, the dealer’s tint vendor destroyed both of the front door panels when the tint was installed. Neither the selling dealer nor their tint vendor would accept responsibility. I worked with my local dealer and Toyota corporate ultimately goodwilled the $2K+ repair.

T24A-FTS, but paired with the performance-oriented Hybrid Max system. What engine is in it?
Your parents would actually change the tire themselves? Glad yours in shape to do that mine are done physically for that.Ah, I missed that.

AAA would change it. Having a spare to install is important; having to figure out the logistics of towing a car to the tire shop and figuring out a ride home (when none of us live in the same area code) would be challenging.Your parents would actually change the tire themselves?
Yep- you don't need a spare until you do.No issue for me. I've had one flat tire in 58 years of driving. I like the odds and don't need the power.
