Those with 150,000 miles or more, check in

477800 is to the very beginning of the moon, about face and back.
Moon = 238,900 * 2 =477800

I am currently looking into changing over to Torco CVT Fluid, barely thinner than Redline but it too is PAO and considerably cheaper.
I have to ask do you have a long commute? Do you use the car for part of your job? That is an incredible amount of miles.

We used it during Cv19. Mrs is a Nurse doing traveling for stupid money. I did most of the driving 🚘, she did bread winning. I got her mileage and per diem monies and we did really well. Its easier on her plus the railroad does the same thing with their lineman and conductors. Its hard driving all day and then having a 12-16 hour day on your feet in care homes. We was buying Caribou Crossing by the case 😂. I went back to A2, so im on the wagon again

Have you looked at HPL CVT?

I’m looking at switching our Nissan over to Amsoil or HPL for the CVT fluid. It’s the weak point on the car. Engine will go forever.

2006 Honda CR-V 190k miles.... I got the car when it was only 50k miles from an old lady. Been using 5W-20 Idemitsu oil and OEM filter every 5k miles. Idemitsu ATF Type H PLUS every 30k miles. Original engine and original automatic transmission.

Did the water pump, drive belts, spark plugs, coils at 110k miles, now I due again for water pump.

Do you burn oil?

Just about to break 180k in the wife's 14 CRV. About 40 miles short. Will be a few days to a week before we break it. Have some tire pressure issues and told her to drive my Legacy until I can get in to Costco to get a rotation, balance and check the pressure on 2 tires. Besides, I need another 1k+ miles this month on the Legacy so I can stay with my 6m/6k OCI.

2016 Toyota Avalon.

Now at 172,000 miles. No repairs, just regular maintenance (tires, brakes, fluid changes, serpentine belt, plugs, filters). 10,000 mile oil change intervals using Mobil 1 and few other brands occasionally. Doesn’t use a drop between changes.

Not a single check engine light, misfire, rattle or shake. 3.5 V6 2GRFE. Spent its entire life in the northeast…Fluid Filmed yearly.

I just realized our 2010 RX350 is part of this club, my brain is metric; currently @ 242k kms. The outlaws gifted it to my wife circa 2014 with about 70k kms. They also just gave her their 2020 RDX, so the RX is going to be sold.

Our 2GR-FE has only had oil changes, a serpentine belt and an air filter; still with original plugs and coolant. Other than that, it needed a fuel cap, 4 years ago (intermittent CEL on) and a RR speed sensor (intermittent ABS/AWD/TRAC light on), which I finally got around to replacing a few weeks ago. The driveline also got regular fluid changes during our ownership with MaxLife and 80w-90 gear oil.

The only two disappointments have been the drivers seat, the leather is badly cracked, and the LR window weatherstrip would stick to the glass while opening, but I guess that's what happens when the vehicle is parked outside all year round.

Car is starting to have some issues. Will use up the fluids i have, give away the remaining Torco cvt fluid and oil filters to my ex girlfriend. Shes in her late 20s and will use whatever I give her but wont call to let me know she needs more of it. Going to hopefully get a Toyota next time around. Camry with a strut bar, borla exhaust, aem intake and call it a day.

Lot of highway miles I'm guessing. Averaging about 17,000 a year wow.

2005 Honda CR-V now at 330,000km.

OCI 8,000 to 10,000km with Supertech 5w40 Euro and Fram Extra Guard. Consistently uses 2 litres per OCI.

I used an aftermarket clutch master cylinder earlier this year - it doesn’t feel right or shift well so I think I’ll do a full clutch job with OEM parts in the new year.

Also time to replace the serpentine belt, idlers, and pulleys.

Onwards to 400,000km!!

What kind of issues are you starting to have? You've had a really good run but might still be cheaper to fix than replace

Maybe but its nickel and diming me. Ive lost faith in Honda quality and have forced myself to get aftermarket as oe is gone junk. Cvt transmission is starting to slowly have misses, the high psi fuel pump in the engine is having issues and I have to replace a windshield, the radio goes haywire on the screen or tries to initialize for whatever reason. Seals around doors shot, the rust in door jams, under car. It was time to pitch it back sometime ago.

Gotcha. For me, the CVT, windshield, radio & door seals wouldn't be a deal breaker. Rust in door jams & subframe though would get me to ditch it as well.

Sorry to hear this. After all that driving you have done for her...

Yeah, lot of highway miles. I’m probably averaging more like 20,000-24,000…I’m not the original owner - bought it in late 2020 with only 50,000 on it.

I’ve kept up with the transmission services and coolant pretty religiously. I’ve done a brake fluid flush too, come to think of it I’m due for another. Did the plugs at 120,000 myself. Serpentine belt at 120,000. Not looking forward to eventually having to replace the water pump (not a lot of room in there). Actually I’ve done everything myself, I used to be an ASE master tech and instructor.
