Texaco Synthetic ATF HD

Hello.

I've been stronly recommended to use a 100% syntetic Dexron III compatible ATF on my transmission.

The only oil I can source here that meets that is Amsoil Universal ATF, but it's really expensive here, and I buy it from the US I'll have to pay shipping and customs, so it will come close to the local price. I need about 14 quarts.

Anyway, I found a Texaco product that might be 100 synthetic and it's Dexron III compatible, besides, it has a very good price, but I'm not sure about if it's 100 synthetic or not, cause many ATF's are advertised as synthetic, but then they are a blend of synthetic and mineral. Also, in the brochure is advertised that it's formulated with advanced synthetic base stock. In Spanish, when they say that a lubricant has "base sintética", they mean that it's a blend.

Can someone tell for sure if it's 100% synthetic or not? Or, at least if it looks like a good alternative to Amsoil?

Dex VI is back specced to Dex III, why not just pick up some Valvoline or Pennzoil Dex VI and be done with it?

What transmission? vehicle?

If the price is right, use the Texaco fluid.

I wouldn't hesitate to use the Texaco.

I phoned Valvoline and Pennzoil in Spain and they don't import their Dexron VI ATF's to Spain, just a basic universal ATF.

Even worse, Texaco has stopped importing the Synthetic ATF HD, so I run out of my primary option.

Anyway, your Dexron VI idea helped me to find quite a good option: Fuchs Titan ATF. I think a should open a new Thread about it.
