I think that they just don't have the resources to keep tabs of the content of everything on their website and delete all the redundant marketing material.
Other than that there's nothing to get confused about as it's just the odd anomaly.

I believe the products themselves are great in their own right, and there's just about something for everybody.
When used in accordance with their up to date guide lines, they should prove to be very good value and give excellent service.

That catalog is not linked to Amsoil.com at all. Read the URL. It's linked to some old out of date dealer URL.

I agree, it's pretty bad when they have to defend themselves against not only rogue dealers, but their own promotional material.

Their blind optimism, along with their business model certainly seems to leave them wide open to criticism in some cases.

The bulk of their products are still good though.
