I don’t think the Cybertruck loyalists expected Ford and Chevy to have their EV trucks out so soon. Many were expecting to take delivery of the Cybertruck and flip it for a tidy profit.
or the cybertruck to arrive so late?

The domestics have plenty of class action lawsuits....I'd take a Toyota over any domestic and I'm not talking about a pickup truck.
It's almost like people will come to their senses if they're made to wait and end up thinking about it some more.
Yeah for me it wore off after seeing just the 4th and I saw the first one almost two months ago. I don't think it looks bad and I actually like the crazy style but like anything it'll wear off.And the wow factor wears off. No one cares if they see a CT anymore.
Give me a break. The domestics don't have a class action lawsuit for engine failures or major engine failures in their pickups like the Koreans or Japanese.
Not to defended H/K or any other foreign brand but to be fair, lots of folks know of major engine issues in American pickup vehicles that do not have a class action against them (something recent that came up in this forum, the Ford V10 and hemi tick?). There are class action lawsuits against them for transmissions though.
I can drive my GM over 85 and not void the warranty![]()
I'm not defending but I'm hoping people don't think it comes with special physics laws, because it still takes BTUs/energy to move weight. My gas F150 doesn't do much better for range when pulling our 7K tow hauler, I have the 26gal tank.
I have seen about 10 in my relatively affluent area. Rivian seems like popular one around here.
Same here. Not that I see a lot of Rivians, but I hardly see Cybertrucks.I have seen far more Rivians than Cyber trucks around my area as well.
If I put a reservation in for a $37,500 base cybertruck 4 years ago I probably wouldn’t bite on what’s on offer$80K to $100K [give or take] stainless steel dumpsters on wheels are a tough sell is my bet.
That’s exactly it. They charge $20k for the Foundation Series package and most of its features don’t work yet.I think the Foundation Series offer comes at a premium. I think you end up paying $10-$20k more to get your truck early and many are not taking the bait from what I’ve seen on the forums.
I couldn't image actually towing with an EV...what do you do...unhook from the trailer each time to recharge?I have a tank about that size in my Silverado-but yea at 10 miles per gallon you are looking for gas around the 150 mile mark-or less if you are in remote areas and don't want to cut it close.
I got rid of a 2020 F-150 with the bad 10 speed. It was terrible. But yea the 36 gallon tank that came with the tow package was great!
Cyberbeast is supposed to be the 1K HP/1300TQ version for next year? Quad motorThat’s exactly it. The charge $20k for the Foundation Series package and most of its features don’t work yet.
