Tesla Full Self Driving (FSD)

It matters not. Tesla has been proven to lie. It shouldn’t hit the house like every other car. It’s flawed. I couldn’t do it if I wanted to. If Teslas data showed it was floored why didn’t it hit the brakes?

The car will not override sustained throttle application in FSD. It literally tells you on the screen when you do it “Self driving will not apply the brakes” if you hold the throttle while using self driving. Just a quick tap of the throttle to nudge it along won’t bring up the message but after a second or so it’ll show it.

FSD should not override automatic braking.

My Audi will not let me accelerate at all if I’m going to hit something. Overriding FSD does not matter one bit, the car should have braked, whether full throttle, no throttle or FSD throttle. The Tesla needs radar because it can’t see houses.

The driver, a 44-year-old man, told investigators from the Harris county sheriff’s office that the vehicle’s “automated driving assistance system” was engaged at the time, according to a statement from the agency.

Dunno what else needs to be said.
Well, that’s very simple. We need to confirm if he’s telling the truth or was he racing down the street at 90 miles an hour and lost control of the car or purposely crash it.

So as the police agency says what needs to be said is if they could confirm he’s telling the truth.
No different than a kid drag racing and saying the accelerator pedal got stuck or whatever other excuses.

Seems hard to believe someone couldn’t step on a brake or is he also saying the brake didn’t work and disengage the system if and the big if it was engaged

Tesla also claims their system is "10x safer than a human driver". New info is spilling out that isn't the case. At what point will the NHTSA issue a stop sale and a dieselgate size fine to Tesla.
I drive every day to work and back with numerous terrible human drivers on the road beside me. At what point will we issue a stop sale of drivers' licenses for those fools?

Like last year when Tesla "couldn't find" crash data and a guy was able to dig it up leading to a 240 million dollar settlement?

FSD doesn't override automatic emergency braking. Holding the pedal to the bricks continuously does.

I can pull data from my car myself. It'll show what mode it is in and any inputs I make. You don't need Tesla to do it remotely. You just need access to the car. I can pull data from my car that is sitting in Wisconsin and I'm in Illinois right now.

You can see the data in the videos I posted here.

That wasn't the point. Look up the article.
"The crash data later revealed that the self-driving software registered obstacles ahead yet took no corrective action. As a result, Naibel Benavides Leon lost her life, and her boyfriend suffered severe injuries. What followed was a courtroom battle that would become a Landmark Autopilot Liability Case."
"Tesla repeatedly denied that certain data existed to police and plaintiffs, only for independent forensic experts to later discover the files were successfully uploaded to Tesla's servers." Oops.

Because the pedal was held down as I said. It's an override.

Well, driver error is the critical cause of approximately 94% of all vehicle accidents.
  • Recognition Errors (~41%): Primarily distracted driving. Have another one, bud...
  • Decision Errors (~33%): Poor choices, primarily speeding.
  • Performance Errors (~11%): Losing control of the vehicle, panicking, etc.
  • Non-Performance Errors (~7%): Failure to act due to physical or mental state like drowsiness, illness.

Just like my former employer pretty much said 100% of all accidents could be avoided. That doesn’t make it the truth.
