T-Mobile Raises Rates

Trying to understand this. What is your actual payment?
Cheapest I can find on ATT site is roughly $130 for two lines actual payment. Im not at all doubting you, just asking what plan and if it is still available. Not that I want it, I pay $33 for two lines, actual payment.

US Mobile is either $50 or $88 two lines actual payment for your type of plan with more perks than ATT at that price I suspect but could be wrong. You get a choice of Verizon or T-Mobile Service

“Darkstar” aka AT&T is now live on US Mobile, we can now jump between the 3 carriers as we please.

Nice, AT&T has always been my favorite (decades) took on TMobile two years ago for two iPhone 13s in exchange for our older ones. Service was ok.
This is my first with Verizon so far good but if ever not AT&T to me is a great option to try and go back to.

I’ll admit for fun I want to switch around but …

I dual-SIM my iPhone 15 ProMax to allow for carrier diversity - Verizon (native, non-MVNO) is primary, USMobile as secondary. Recently swapped over to their “Dark Star”/AT&T access and it’s been a huge improvement over T-Mobile. If it wasn’t for my Verizon plan being a fairly decent deal (along with providing peace of mind for the wife, which is worth every penny), I’d consider going that route as my sole carrier. T-Mobile unfortunately can’t win that title for me, because they are severely lacking in network resiliency, at least here in the Houston metro. Their cell sites lack power redundancy (generator), causing service to be hard down after approximately 30 minutes into one of our occasional long power outages.

We had T-Mobile for only two years and recently dumped them when they raised rates. We only switched to them for 2 new iPhone 13s and Magenta 55 Plus at a cost of $70 a month and $7 Netflix credit. - Net Cost $63, two lines and two new iPhone 13s in exchange for our old iPhones. T-Mobile worked good enough in the Columbia SC area but now moved to the coast and it was bad whenever we went shopping in building and wife and I would try to call each other. Coverage was dead.

Then they raised rates this year, cancelled and went to US mobile, now pay $33 two lines. We took the Verizon Warp Service. Verizon works MUCH better here on the coast in the situation I posted above.

The un carrier has just become a regular carrier now that they’re so big.
I just got a text message, pretty much they broke with tradition and prices are no longer grandfathered in.
Our rate is going up five dollars per line per month.

I knew it would be just a matter of time as once a company gets big enough they can start grabbing more profit.

I guess time to check out Redpocket (of which I previously had for many years and my daughter still ) and USMobile. But may wait until 2025 as I have a big trip end of the year I’m not sure I want to mess around being T-Mobile gives me airplane data . But I may switch as. T-Mobile was so obnoxious as to give less than a two week notice with memorial day in between.

I can pay roughly $600 less a year using US mobile and maybe red pocket after this price increase
Class action lawsuit against T-Mobile now. Many complaints to FCC about raising rates when T-Mobile said it was locked. Add your voice to this. Complain to FCC
