There is another angle of video out now that shows a rear angle of the events a little clearer, the SUV moved when the childs door was opened. Im not sure the intent of opening that door, but like the SUV driver, i would have also done anything needed to minimize the number of people in the situation, ie, speed off.
Common sense dictacts, if im surrounded, im taking the path of least resistance. It just so happens someone thought his body was sufficient barricade against an SUV.
Lesson learned in my opinion.

The point is one of irony: NYC bans sugary drinks to prevent their consumption. NYC bans trans-fat for your health. You're not free to choose.....so, ban motorcycles for public safety....not a serious suggestion, but a commentary nonetheless....

It's Range Rover. Frankly, I'm surprised to see one out of the repair shop, and driving down the highway under it's own power.

Broke out the windows with their helmets, reached in and opened the door. Not that hard once the window is out of the way. Unfortunately it's illegal to possess a firearm in NYC, if this was in Arizona they would have met my H&K USP.
