I don't buy that. This is counterintuitive. What about all the time I spend by the ocean, and the people who live in coastal areas? Are we ruining our health? Is there wholesale reports of cancer among these people? Plus, our bodies are salty by nature. Alarmism.

Yes you are. Next time you're at the ocean, look down the shoreline. You'll see a mist of salt spray that dried and hugs the shore. Check your glasses - they'll be covered with salt. I've spent lots of time on my property by the ocean and I see what the salt spray does to property and cars. It'll coat cars a few blocks away with a mist of salt. My condo was just assessed $4000 to repair the damage salt did to the rebar in the concrete. The salt is there, in the air.
