PS: Overall, my MPGs have dropped after starting the use of MMO in fuel in 2 different vehicles. About 6,000 miles of test data accrued so far. The first 4,000 miles was done with 4oz/10gal and I have switched to a 3oz/10gal with no recordable changes from the 4oz method.
YMMV. Winter time is a tough time of year for recording mpgs, at least I always found that to be the case. My wife has a habit of starting an engine, then run in the house pour some coffee for her trip to work, or do other little tasks while she warms the car. Little things like that, and the lousy blend of fuel cut into my mpgs. The engine also runs richer longer during cool and cold weather. 6000 miles of data is pretty good though. Stay with it and see what happens.
All variables are accounted for and only apples are being compared to apples.
