Is this the new G-Oil? Saw this earlier today and thought I'd share with you guys.

I know project farm isn't exact science but I'd believe his videos before any video from a manufacturer who is biased toward their own product. Thanks for the posting. Very interesting. There might be something fishy about the camshaft wear tests. It says it’s much better than synthetic and much much better than conventional. This sounds too simple. Wear tests from different oils are usually hard to differentiate ( unless you wanted to believe project farm).
Do you know where you can buy G-Oil at? I've always wanted to give them a try at least once. I knew it used to be all over Amazon but I don't see it there anymore and I've never seen it in any store. I tried using the contact form on their website twice and haven't gotten any response. At least G-Oil was priced reasonably, $79 for 6 quarts is a bit steep. A little bit behind the curve as well with an SN rating.

The Edge is somehow derived from sugar cane.Castrol has their own Group V/III blend.

What plant oil? Doesn't specify.
Renewable Lubes High Oleic Based Stock (HOBS), iirc is also soy oil based.
I think Amaryis, who’s associated with TotalEnergies developed this oil with Castrol. I’m running it in an older Lexus. Seems to be happy with it.The Edge is somehow derived from sugar cane.

Not HOBS based... and USDA BioPreferred requires 25% biobased content... So that fits with the SDS.Castrol has their own Group V/III blend.

Also, the SDS on the 5w20 and 5w30 show 50 to 70% Group III base oil for the biosynthetic brand oil
