Soy based bio engine oil?

Thanks for the posting. Very interesting. There might be something fishy about the camshaft wear tests. It says it’s much better than synthetic and much much better than conventional. This sounds too simple. Wear tests from different oils are usually hard to differentiate ( unless you wanted to believe project farm).

I know project farm isn't exact science but I'd believe his videos before any video from a manufacturer who is biased toward their own product.

At least G-Oil was priced reasonably, $79 for 6 quarts is a bit steep. A little bit behind the curve as well with an SN rating.

Do you know where you can buy G-Oil at? I've always wanted to give them a try at least once. I knew it used to be all over Amazon but I don't see it there anymore and I've never seen it in any store. I tried using the contact form on their website twice and haven't gotten any response.

I think they're pretty much gone at this point.

Welp...if anyone on here has 5 new quarts of G-Oil synthetic 5w30 or 10w30 I'll buy it off you lol

Well the data sheet seems to indicate that it's only like 26% bio oil, what's so great about this over Castrol Edge Biosynthetic which is 25% biosynthetic oil that's derived from sugar cane.

Those comparison pics with "drain interval 2 to 3 times recommended mileage" aren't very specific. Was the comparison oil in the GM 3.5 Dexos spec? If you ran it 2 to 3 times the GM OLM number, I'd expect some degradation.
