Does Australia import Emu meat to the USA?

Is Kangaroo leaner then Emu?

I think the Emu bird originated in Australia,
I have eaten Emu burgers, first time I ordered a Emu burger the waitress
warns me not to order the Emu 'Well Done' since it is a very lean meat and can be dry when cooked 'Well Done'
(I like my meat cooked all the way through),
I know what she meant after I took that first bite of the burger, should have ordered it medium well.

Good question Bill. I guess Emu originated here but I'll check. Don't know if Emu is leaner than Roo I've never eaten Emu(Roo yes).

Aborigines it appears have ben using Emu oil for 40,000 yrs so maybe they did originate here?
