Soliciting thoughts- 2019 DRW F350 stolen (salvage but clear title)

I need to check out a 2017-2019 Super duty crew cab. Have never been on one except for this one.

This picture off another 2017-2019 Super Duty may imply the broken off bolts may be for a under seat tool box, not for the rear seats.

You are right about the broken bolts not attaching the seat bottom.

The missing bolts align perfectly with the mounting anchors located on the bottom of the tool tray as shown in the photo below.

GON, I’ve had my whole interior out of my 2020 which looks identical to yours. I can confirm the rear seat only bolts in the back and those bolts that are broken are from the under seat storage thing.

Edit to add: the middle seat buckle has a tab that bolts on just above the rear seat. There are some trim pieces over it if I recall correctly.

Replaced the front bumper skin and the grill today.

The bumper skin took a lot of labor time, a lot. If one has more money than time, buying a complete bumper assembly is a massive time saver. I need to pickup a valance, the bottoms looks not good..

Cost for the grill and front bumper, $200 (100 each).

Some really nasty tex mex thorns found in this assembly. I sat on one- ouchhhhhh....

Need a rear seat, good, front right fender, and a cab trim piece and that is about it. No hurry for these items. Truck is ready to roll.now.

Later this week I will change the two fuel filters and the oil.

I meant to mention earlier that a popular change some F350 owners do is put the front valance from a truck with the Tremor package on it. It only comes down an inch or so.

Got ahead of myself on the list of things left to do.

Satellite antenna - ordered
Rooftop lights- ordered
Windshield wiper mount assembly - not ordered
Back seat- not ordered
Vent trim to mount console properly - ordered
Am fm antenna - not ordered
Hood, right fender, and cab trim piece- not ordered

On a plus note, with the console installed - Android Auto is now working.

Looking really good!

As mentioned above, very popular mod is for guys to swap the big valance for a shorter one that comes on the tremor(about 1” wide) or the two wheel drive version (it’s about 2” wide). Both available from ford for a reasonable price.

That said you might be able to find a replacement on marketplace from someone that swapped their 4x4 version for one of the above for very cheap. I generally don’t like the look of the big 4x4 valance but on a dually it would look good.

Thanks, but I like the factory look. Here is a bit better of a picture after replacement of the grill and front bumper.

My F-150 has a gaping hole below the bumper where they install the inter-cooler on the Ebobust versions but I didn't like the missing-a-part look so I added one of these and it looks 100% better IMO. I don't know if they make something similar but I would look for one if I had an F-350 like yours.

Changed the oil and filter today. Next changed the water separator and filter filter. Some (see pic) goopie stuff at the bottom off the water separator.

The new vent panels came in. The passenger side went in just fine. The driver side vent panel did not fit. The trailer controller opening is cut in the wrong place. Guess I ordered the wrong one.

Replaced the front valence and the am/fm radio antenna after dinner this evening.

The valence was no issue, I had pulled the old one off and put it back on a few days ago. The radio antenna was a pain- found myself getting mad at the thieves for a breaking the radio antenna mount. I can find no reason it was broken, along with the right windshield wiper arm, which will require the entire windshield rack assembly replacement.

To replace the antenna required pulling out the wheel well. The key to the job was using a homemade fish tape made of super strong string. And to use four times the length of the string one thinks is needed. On a positive, I used cloth electrical tape instead of plastic electrical tape and learned the cloth tape holds much better than plastic electric tape when being used to hold onto the fish tape.

Fueling up and starting to take proactive steps on the algae and fuel pump lube concerns.

Look at the diesel price. This is a native American run station, best prices around. In another thread I will post how oil companies reportly make .77 more per gallon in Washington state over the state of Alabama.
