The crease on the driver door is real and was not repaired prior to sale.
I would expect a car of that age to have minor damage like that.

Such a beater! The crease on the driver door is real and was not repaired prior to sale.
Toyota’s and Honda’s are usually priced over KBB and it has been like that forever. $5K is a steal!I got more than KBB value for the vehicle. Based on the ones available for sale within a few hundred miles, there were no comparable examples to justify above KBB value.
Thank you.
That's what people say, but I haven't always found this to be the case. It is heavily dependent on the local market, age of the vehicle and demand.Toyota’s and Honda’s are usually priced over KBB and it has been like that forever. $5K is a steal!
It's a 2010 Altima with the V6, 66K miles and looks like it has been in a showroom for the last 15 years. What made you keep a Nissan over this?!
That 2.4 is one of the best engine Honda ever made....wish it was still around...Had 386000 on my 07 Accord with zero issues...even had the same alternator and original water pump in it....just did normal maint. on it...It was a great car...also the last year of the wishbone suspension...I recently acquired my parents’ Altima so it was time to trim down the fleet.
I sold the Accord to a good friend of my next door neighbor. Although the car was in pretty good shape, I went ahead and invested $750 towards addressing some borderline wear and maintenance items before sale. While this probably wasn’t the smartest thing for my wallet, it felt like the right thing to do for an acquaintance.
Got $5k for the car - which seems in line for the market.
I hope the car continues to service its new owner well. I gave him a quart of oil and reminded him to check the oil level periodically, hopefully he listens!

I've always done that with every car I've sold directly to a person. Often times I'll either do an oil change and slap a new air filter in, or give them oil and a filter as part of the deal. This forum also convinced me to give the buyer a full tank of gas.

Decades ago I sold an older, pretty used up daily driver for too much. It looked better than it really was. I drove to the bank with the not very affluent Vietnamese guy so he could get the cash. Although he willingly bought the car, I didn't feel good about the deal. When he handed me the agreed upon amount I gave him $200 or $300 back. I kid you not. Yeah, I know...but no regrets. I like being able to sleep at night.

The pre-sale oil change consisted of Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W30 and a Genuine Honda oil filter. This is BITOG. What brand/version/viscosity of oil to you provide with it?
Wife's cousin has a 03. It's lower mileage but older. It'll be available soon.Very nice car. I would have been very tempted to scoop it up to replace the ‘07 Sonata for my sister.
But she’s not nice to cars so it’s best it don’t happen![]()
Same here. After following you for twenty-something years I'd buy a car from you any day..
