We should trade places then! The hotter the better for me! I'll live in Miami and you can live in Toronto!

I'm afraid that after getting a record low amount of snowfall here last winter, and an amazingly hot and dry summer too, we're probably in for a very long, very snowy and very cold winter in the Toronto area this season

You guys say that like it's a bad thing! I could easily live somewhere that is hot all year round, I would absolutely be in paradise! Nothing depresses me more than cold snowy winter weather.

Channeling Joe Basstardi* here, I see the Jersey shore not getting anywhere near the amount of snow they got last year.

I would really like to move back to Times Square in NYC but I have very sick family members down here so that is off the table for now...I really hate the heat and run the a/c in the house and car 24/7 365 days a year.

The Miami Herald did a survey a few years ago and asked people if they would live in Miami without a/c in their house, car or where they worked...97% said NO way.

We will have less rain than normal, average about 10" a year, this winter as was the last 5-6 years. We're desperate for rainfall the last 6-7 years for the whole South-West.

IMO that is good.

My Guess?!

Quite honestly, an half-inch of snow is too much, period! I'm 37-years old and have finally gotten to the point,I'm sick and tired of the cold, tired of scraping windows, tired of summer events coming to an end because the sub-zero freeze is coming for the next 5-months.

For myself, this will be my final winter. I'll be moving to a warmer climate come 2011.
