Say Goodbye to the Camaro.

Never owned a Camaro but, I hate to see them go.
There is a 2010 Model sitting in our local Toyota Dealership showroom with only 17XX
original miles on it. For sale. It has the GM LS3 V8 engine rated at 426 hp.
Looks brand new.

In case you never knew Camaro in french means "a small, vicious animal that eats Mustangs."

This GUY has the only real Camaro I ever wanted.

There's a reason the '03 Cobra was called the "Terminator". That was the last time GM "killed" the Camaro and Ford gave it a swift kick in the arse on the way out.

My dad had a 69 Z28 brand new, mom had a 69 blue black vinyl roof 327 brand new. Still etched in my mind of them sitting in the driveway. That Z28 could sure scream. Dad's daily driver was a 69 townsman big block wagon. I only said to my wife I like to buy a new Camaro before it's to late I just might pull the trigger before it's to late.I definitely have a soft spot for the Camaro

With Ford announcing EV losses, I just do not see EV as a realistic option for the near future. I think these car companies are run by idiots who have no idea what the consumer actually wants. The public wants retro looking cars, and only 2 managed to make them, with Dodge killing the cash-cow printing press Challenger this year. They are all looking to make EVs which are not widely desired by the public. Rather than fixing the Camaro, GM is killing it. It's just crazy.
Not many want EVs or can even afford them. Since the end of the 70s it seems like the Big 3 US automakers greatest talent is to pump out sub par quality products they cant sell in any kind of great numbers. They also seem very talented at chosing the wrong plans which lead to needs for more and more bailouts just like the banks of today.

The next Camaro will be another electric crossover appliance that Ashleigh can use to pick up Aiden, Kayden, and Brayden from school while bragging to the world she drives a “Camaro”. Gatekeeping needs to come back. Real men drive V8s and nothing else.

Glad I got my 21' 2SS before they go away forever and thankfully, perfect timing as I actually paid under MSRP by a few thousand before the shortage/price creep, etc...

Absolutely LOVE my Camaro, I can't ask for a better fun/summer car. Just took it out of winter hibernation two days ago.

Sad it see it go, but it was inevitable. But without that roar of the V8 with the NPP Exhaust... I don't care what the EV 0-60 times are and all that, there is something special about all the noise, sound, crackle of the exhaust, etc... They should let the Camaro name die with the V8 motor and not bastardize it like Ford with the Mustang. Terrible...

Camaro completely killed the comparable V8 Mustang, Charger, Challenger, etc... No contest when driving them all and comparing them. Just my opinion though, I wasn't biased to any brand when looking for my fun car, but the Camaro was such an easy win after shopping around.

Good thing is, resale is holding really strong on my 2SS. I've had mine just short of 3 years and the trade-in value is almost what I paid OTD. Curious if it will continue to climb in the future once it's gone for good.

My friend in Wichita had a Chevy Camaro berlinetta. I think it had a V6 in it if I recall and he had always talked about throwing in a V8. I believe the Pontiac version had a slightly smaller motor but you got a turbocharger with it. I kind of always liked Pontiac styling a little bit better than Chevrolet. I love the old Pontiac trans ams the GTA's. I think out of all the groups the ones that they got rid of were actually the better brands. I'd rather have an Oldsmobile than a Chevy any day of the week and twice on Sunday. If they're not making this car anymore it's obvious the things up in Detroit aren't going as well as planned and it's been that way since about the late 1970s. Let's just cross our fingers that the public doesn't get scammed in the bailing them out. I think they should build what they make and they make what they build and toilet paper is the only thing that comes to my mind

The early Camaro/Firebirf F bodies were affordable. Car companies now seem to think customer's money grows on trees so they load the cars up to crazy MSRPs and then add on dealer markups.

If someone came up with a $25K, dependable, sporty Pony car, it might do well.
Cars are too expensive overall combines with poor quality in too many cases.

Here is a pic of my 2SS... Main options I added include Mag Ride, NPP and some cosmetic (tint, wheels and front lip).
