I personally use this one. As for pepper I buy whole peppercorns and have a pepper mill. Helps season and gives food great flavor. Occasionally I’ll use sea salt.

I use Morton's Lite salt and Trader Joes black pepper in small can...the lite salt has extra potassium in it...which I can use...gotta be careful with it if your kidney's arent up to snuff....ask your MD before using salt substitutes. I like salt but the ability to discern one tasting better than the other escapes me.

We use Himalayan Salt and black peppercorns both from Costco.
Pepper is the condiment of choice for me because of being on a sodium restricted diet,
However, pepper has to be freshly ground. Cannot stand the already ground up stuff served at most restaurants.
One year for Christmas, Mrs. Tdbo surprised me with a travel pepper/salt grinder which she keeps in her purse for when we go out.

We buy our black peppercorns from Indian stores a pound at a time which lasts 2-3 months. Wife buys sea salt from France.

The grinders we use are OXO Good Grips.

I do not use pink salt. The problem of heavy metal contamination was a deal breaker for me.

Here's just one article on it:

There are others too, from more official source, but this was one that came up quickly in a search. Do your own research and decide for yourself.

I buy 16 or 12 mesh blackpepper by the 1# and 2# bags. San Antonio is the brand.
