Just switched to my first Diesel oil in Motorcycle...What a difference it made, like a different bike...Rotella T 15w40

Going to do same thing to my 84 V45 Magna 750 Honda

That`s all just thought I would chime in get a post under my belt

Welcome! I have run rotella, and rotella t-6 in my little 250. Lot of people like it. I notice the clutch feeling notchy when it sheers.

Rotella T and T6 are both excellent oils. Seeing how you live in Canada, the T6 might be a better option but you will be happy either way.

Thanks to ALL that responded, The T6 I think is the synthetic one, I have heard good reviews from both, but have also heard bad reviews from (SOME ONLY) on the T6...assuming that`s the synthetic version

If you want a laugh, I called the Honda shop closest to me, the Parts guy said I should stay away from any of those types of oil, including the Rotella T

Also another bike dealer I know (generic dealer) guy said he was uncomfortable recommending any of those oils

I had some lifter noise prior to changing, and it`s all gone now, so I am believer

From gasoline oils to diesel oils, you will get an improvement, but go to an MA2 motorcycle oil and you will see about twice the grip of the clutch.
Don't need a big name brand. just look for MA2 on the label.

Thankyou

Yes the Rotella T 15W40 I am using has the MA2

Good for you sir! The Rotella T motorcycle bandwagon keeps growing. I use it exclusively in my Ninja 250 and it runs fantastic just like it did on Kawasaki's own oil but at $10 less a gallon!!
