Still looked pretty good after 22,500 miles (Would have went 30k easily) and I wouldnt be afraid to use it in a gasser. They make in 10W30 if you need something lighter.

I recently went to my local Advance Auto store to see if they had any motor oil on sale, since I use whatever's the cheapest these days. They didn't have one brand of oil, not even their generic store brand, that was less than $4.99 a qt. I never thought I'd see the day when you couldn't buy conventional motor oil for less than $5, but that day has come. Where do you guys find your deals on oil? I sure as he!! ain't paying $5 a qt for generic oil.
If you are near Toledo or Columbus, the Andersons often has great dino deals.

So everything has gone up in price..so have our wages.
Think about what are considered "must haves" today that were luxuries or non-existent back in the 70's and 80's.

To the best of my knowledge, Advance Auto has their Full Synthetic on sale for $3.99 a quart or $1.50 off a quart of SM, GF-4
I've used it and it's fine oil.....
