Quick Lane attempted to fraudulently upsell me

Legit question: If **I** don't notice a slight imbalance, let's say due to a couple of missing weights, then what does it matter? I know that major imbalances, aside from being annoying, will result in additional strut wear, as well as everything else that is vibrating, like bushings.

Last time I went in for service at my dealer, they literally told 3 different customers in the waiting room [over the course of my 4-hour wait] "your right rear tire has a nail in the sidewall. We cannot repair it so you will need a new tire to pass state inspection. The new tire will be $215 installed." All 3 customers said yes because they felt they had no choice. But 3 vehicles all having the same issue, on the same day, with the same tire? Sounds like a revenue booster to me.

The service I was getting done was a 4-wheel brake job (new pads and new rotors), oil change, tire rotation, and annual state inspection. . First estimate was $985. I asked them if there were any current service specials. SA said "now that you mention it, I think I saw something...I will be right back." Comes back 5 minutes later, and suddenly the estimate was $760 for everything. Turns out there was a special...go figure.

Had to go back the following morning because something didn't feel quite right with the brakes. While I was waiting, another customer needed a tire replaced...due to a nail...for $215. Hmm...
