On 1960s and 1970s era military aircraft like the F-4, F-111, KC-135, was there any way to tell from outside the aircraft if the radar or guidance systems were in use when the aircraft was on the ground and running?
If the landing lights are on does that necessarily mean any other systems like this are also on?
