I was reading on their website about it just out of curiosity and they say this about it:

*Contains additional friction modifiers for improved fuel
economy.*

In layman's terms does this mean it has more anti wear additives over their Ultimate Durability? If so,isn't this a good thing,making the use of high mileage oils the best from the beginning? Os is this just good marketing?
 
From what I remember, i do believe that wording has not changed since it was Quaker State Defy API SL
Their gimic was it contained a lot more zinc antiwear additive.
The formula has changed to API SN Resource Conserving since then but the description has not.
Thats just what I think happened...

And a nice chaser of Boron. I really liked the original Defy in SL spec w/ extra ZDPP, not sure why SOPUS changed it.

Exactly right.

Molybdenum is a friction modifier. Which can ever so very slightly help fuel economy.
