Quaker State filters

Horizontal filter will drain more than a vertical mount (unless, I guess an inverted vertical mount?)

My Honda Civic 2000, is horizontally mounted. Why would that matter though?
Depends on how hot the engine gets, & if the exhaust is close by. That old 1.5 E in that Tercel gets a workout on the highway!

They are Purolator made as stated but not direct copies of the Classic. I contacted Puro and they stated they are 94% at 20 micron, IIRC. A little lower than the PC.

I've run into a few where the ADBV didn't seal right after 5-6k miles. It was still pliable, but didn't do the job anymore.

I've been running the Quaker State filters in 2 cars, for several years.

I had a 94 Geo Prizm, and the ADBV failed 2x...somewhere north of 5k.

On my 96 Camry, I've run them up to 5800 miles, and have not had one fail. I'd say I've used around 10 Quaker State filters on this particular car.
