I compared the 5w30s, since that's what most of us use.
I found the site by searching Google for "Pennzoil Plantinum Product Data Sheet".
The site will yield sheets for any Shell product and is easy to search, with fast loading PDF pages.
Thanks.
Comparing the sheets for PP and PU, I found that Ultra has the slight edge over Platinum in the 5w30 flavor (MRV of 13,000 PU to 14,800 PP), just like you stated.
However, in in the 5w-20 flavor, it is Platinum that has the edge over Ultra (MRV of 9,700 PP vs. 11,700 PU).
All MRVs cited are at -35C per the PDS.
This is very interesting and educational stuff. Amazing to learn of all these variations within the same families, the same consumer grades, etc.
